  • Securing a Release of Deceased & Transfer from place of death within a 100 km radius of the City of Vancouver and District of Squamish
  • Consultation with a licensed funeral director to coordinate all details for final disposition.
  • Coordination of all details with respect to cemetery/crematorium and other parties responsible for the final disposition of the deceased.
  • Compiling and typing of obituaries and delivering to newspapers of the family's choice.
  • Handling all telephone enquiries, donations, flowers, etc.
  • Provide a benefit package with information.

Documentation For Provincial Authorities

  • Obtaining signed medical certificate from attending physician including preparation and filing of permits for disposition and the completion of all forms required by the government and the medical examiner's office (includes burial permit).
  • Preparing Death Certificate for any legal affairs that the family may need to look after
  • All record keeping and general clerical assistance
  • Providing and preparing Canada Pension Forms.

Basic Sanitary Care

  • OPTION: Other preparation (includes dressing, hair, makeup, casketing and additional care of deceased, other than embalming)
