Obituary for Judith Lynn Buxton (Foreman)

You were there when I took my first breath and I was there when you took your last”
My brother David and I (Lesli) are heartbroken to announce the passing of our wonderful mother, Judy Buxton.
Judith Lynn Buxton (Foreman) was born September 1, 1941 and passed away September 20, 2020.
Predeceased by her husband Bert Buxton (Oct/12) and her parents
Survived by her son David, daughter Lesli (Brad)
Grandchildren – Ryan (Christine), Kelcey, Brittany (Sean), Mahri (Eric)
Great Grandchildren – Logan & Lucas
Brothers – Ted (Ann), Mike (Georgie)
She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and good friends.
I would like to sincerely thank the following people who contributed to make her last 7 years (pre-CODVID) better than we could have imagined.
Dr. James Cranston – for all you did to make her life better.
Shannon Falls Retirement Residence – Lesley, Brian, Lisa and the rest of the staff – Thank you for making her feel comfortable, safe and cared about. She loved her suite.
Sea to Sky Hospice – Thank you to Dr. Brenda Millar, Jeremy and the rest of the Hospice Nurses, you are truly special people. I am so very grateful that we were able to stay with mom to the very end.
I cried when you passed. I still cry today.
Although I loved you dearly, I couldn’t make you stay.
Your golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest
God broke my heart to prove to me he only takes the best

Lesli and David... I am so sorry for your loss. I only met your mom, my Aunt, briefly but she treated me and my family like we were always part of her life. She was a lovely lady... kind and thoughtful. I will be forever grateful that I had the opportunity to meet her and spend some time with her. She's now with Uncle Bert.... RIP Aunt Judy... till we meet again....

Raymond Ian Buxton

Aunt Judy and Uncle Bert were two of the most caring, generous, and warm hearted people I have ever known. In our short time together they participated in many family gatherings and social events. When my wife and I had our daughter Bert and Judy were in attendance and made the occasion even more of a blessing with their presence. We spent countless birthdays, Christmases and Thanks Giving's together along with many other of our mutual relatives. When Uncle Bert passed in 2012 we all wondered how life would be for us all without him among us. Of course the hole left in our hearts was tremendous, and especially for Aunt Judy. My wife and I last saw Aunt Judy in January of 2020 when we made a special trip up to Squamish to visit her. We had a wonderful time reminiscing and laughing about old times together. When we left, I felt something tugging at my heart and I now know what it was--it was a goodbye waiting for us that we all felt, but didn't want to admit. All said and done life will never be the same and I miss my Aunt dearly. Where ever you are Aunty, please know that we love you dearly, and that your memory will always be a blessing and will live never forget you. You were the best Aunt and friend a nephew could ever have. I am sure you and Uncle Bert are dancing somewhere up in the stars! RIP Dear. Love, The Buxton's--Ian, Judy, and Erin
